Dimitri Gotsis – Dimitri is a registered Tax Agent (TA), a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) and a registered Company Auditor (CA). Dimitri has in excess of 25 years professional accounting experience and is an expert authority in superannuation, investment property tax, as well as business and personal tax accounting. He is known for providing valuable advice and timely services to clients. He is the principal and owner of Gotsis Rubic & Barbariol chartered accountants in Five Dock, Sydney. Dimitri attended the University of Sydney and earned his Bachelor of Economics Degree.
Dimitri’s expert and friendly staff and accounting team consist of: George Vici, Graziella Bettiol, Peihua Yao and Tammy Tang. Our administrative team includes our office administrator May Kim, office assistant Nina Gotsis and reception Letteria Sanni. The languages spoken by the staff at Gotsis Rubic & Barbariol include English, Greek, Italian and Mandarin. Just like our clients, our staff represents a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
George Vici – George has been working with Gotsis Rubic & Barbariol tax accounting team for the past 2 years. With his 35+ expertise in accounting, George is able to help many clients with financial statements, completing tax returns, BAS and IAS. Because George finds his work to be interesting and challenging, and he loves to assist clients, he works in all areas including professionals, businesses, Self Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs) and family trusts to help them meet their tax and accounting needs. He also speaks Italian.
Graziella Bettiol – Graziella has been in accounting for 18 years, and has worked with Gotsis Rubic & Barbariol for the last four years. She is our Italian pension expert and is able to help those that receive an Italian pension with their tax return, including those that have investment property. There is no need for a translator as Graziella is fluent in Italian. She loves working accounts and doing reconciliations and is prepared to help with all small business and personal tax account needs. Including preparing your tax returns and financial statements and working on reconciliations, group certificates and wages.
Tammy Tang – Tammy is one of our most recent members of staff that works on a part time basis. She takes pleasure in working on accounting and tax concerns faced by small taxpayers. She also find the atmosphere at Gotsis Rubic & Barbariol to be easy going and helpful. Tammy comes to us with more than 9 years of experience in tax learned from working in the tax departments of commerce and public practice, inclusive of Ernst & Young, Oracle Corporation and BDO. Her educational background includes a combined Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce degree attained in 1998 from the University of Western Australia. In addition to this she became a Chartered Accountant in 2002. She speaks Cantonese fluently.
May Kim – May enjoys her position as our Office Administrator and finds that it rewarding. She majored in Facilities Management at the University of NSW where she earned a degree in Construction Management and Property. May is very much a part of our office in that she takes care of the general administration and IT support in addition to helping with the tax accounting team. She was very crucial to the setting up of our new MYOB program. She also sees to data entry as well as other activities. She also speaks Korean.
Nina Gotsis – Nina is our Office Assistant. She takes care of a multitude of things such as photocopying, filing, banking, petty cash, faxing, mail and purchasing requirements for the staff amenities and even a few cleaning tasks. Nina came to Gotsis Rubic & Barbariol 8 years ago after a 3-year stint working retail. She thoroughly enjoys her work and taking care of the staff with preparation of morning tea and a number of other clerical tasks. However, more than anything, she really enjoys assisting with our regular informational mail-outs to clients.
Letteria Sanni – Letteria has been an employee with Gotsis Rubic & Barbariol for almost 2 years. She has 22 years experience working in business accounting. As our receptionist Letteria is your first point of contact, and she ensures that when you call, you are quickly taken care of. She takes pleasure in helping clients and sees them happy with the services received. In addition to her services as the receptionist, Letteria helps the tax and accounting team with administration, debtor accounts and BAS lodgements. She speaks Italian fluently.
Peihua Yao – Peihua earned her Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Western Sydney and is a Chartered Accountant. She came to Gotsis Rubic & Barbariol 9 years ago. Peihua loves helping clients so much and likes to know that they are satisfied and happy with the services provided that after the birth of her second child, she continued working with us on a contractual basis. She speak Mandarin fluently.
